On this day 12 years ago rap legend Christopher Wallace AKA Notorious B.I.G. was shot a killed. Biggie took a trip to the West Coast to promote his then soon to be released album Life After Death. He would spend his final days in California where he was pronounced dead around 1:15 a.m. on March 9, 1997; he was just 24 years old. B.I.G. will forever be remembered as one of the greatest rappers of all-time. He left behind his mother Voletta Wallace, and his two children.
